The opening ceremony of the 15th Pusan International Film Festival was held in Busan, South Korea, on 7 October 2010.  This year, the Asian film festival showcases 308 films from 67 countries and runs from 7 October to 15 October. Onward to the exciting part, the red carpet!

Kim Hyun Joong met up with Shun Oguri on the 20th and the two had dinner at a hotel in Seoul. The atmosphere during dinner was reportedly warm and cozy, as Kim and Oguri played the same character in  Boys Before Flowers (Yoon Ji Hoo) and Hana Yori Dango (Hanazawa Rui) respectively. Kim Hyun Joong’s agency revealed that the two stars talked naturally like friends (shadowlesslight: in Japanese or Korean?) about the behind-the-scenes during filming of their abovementioned dramas and shared pointers regarding each other’s acting, movies etc.

Shun Oguri arrived in Korea on the 19th for his directorial debut titled Surely Someday, and will also be holding a fanmeeting. Kim Hyun Joong is set to begin shooting MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday drama Playful Kiss which premieres 1st September.

Korean action-spy blockbuster, Iris, is set to hit Japan soon via TBS Television. The station specially invited Tatsuya Fujiwara (Death Note) and Meisa Kuroki (Dance, Subaru!) to voice dub for its lead stars Lee Byung Heon and Kim Tae Hee respectively. To promote the drama, Lee, Kim and Meisa Kuroki shot a fashion spread for the August issue of Japanese magazine 25 ans.

So you want to take some nice pictures of yourself but you are lazy to do too much work. Here’s the easy way out. Pick a nice tree, pluck a leave, and grab a flower or even, just a petal, plus a pinch of creativity – and that gives you enough props for a photo album full of interesting pictures.

Prop no. 1  Leaves

The thing about leaves is that they come in different shapes and colours so they can portray many different moods. You can look poignant, mysterious, or cute. And the best thing is – they are everywhere!
